Dragon’s Odyssey is an animated video work created by New York-based artist Yang Yongliang, in commemoration of Hennessy's Lunar New Year in 2024. The artwork features traditional East Asian dragons, which transform into digital forms and re-encounter in a futuristic world of metallic waves. It’s an odyssey that connects the past to the future.

As the dragons emerge from the water, they engage in a playful interaction, chasing and frolicking in turn, celebrating the joyous pleasures of companionship and fun. Their movements create a sensory dimension, causing the water to rise and fall in rhythm. Ultimately, the dragons return to the depths of the water, having experienced a journey of self-discovery on an innovative and trans-national horizon.
